This month, Blindsgalore is celebrating its 11th anniversary.

For an eCommerce company, 11 years puts us in some rarified air, and we are proud of our accomplishment. We strive to provide a good value and a good shopping experience, and we consider our longevity to be a testament to the effort we have put into our business.
For fun, we looked up what the traditional gift is for an 11th anniversary. As it turns out, the traditional gift is steel and the modern gift is Fashion Jewelry or accessories. While steel isn’t necessarily the first thing that comes to mind when we think of something to represent our celebration, we do think of ourselves as providing a sort of jewelry for the homes of our customers – so we’re sticking with that.
We’ve taken advantage of this ‘house jewelry’ ourselves. When I stand up from my cubicle in the heart of Blindsgaloreland and look around, I see blinds everywhere. They are mounted on the walls all over the office. This started as a practical way to maintain expertise in our trade and has become a time-honored tradition. Beyond that, I’ve realized that it’s also been a unique way to decorate our office.
In fact, since we have a huge sampling of many different types of blinds here, we have a kind of eclectic decor that is probably unlike any of our customer’s homes. From my desk, I can see sheer shades and Roman pleats to the West, and Bamboo to the East. Vertical blinds and drapes are just around the corner. There are even blinds in the bathroom (no windows to the rest of the office, don’t worry).
Having these window treatments around us is a way to feel connected to our customers, and knowing that we are contributing to your most important spaces is a great feeling. For over a decade now, we have been happy and proud be help families all over America to decorate, personalize, and make your home into a personal haven and retreat. This is what we do, and we like it.
