Need lots of color options in your blinds? Look no further than the venerable mini blind.

That’s right, the ubiquitous and venerable mini comes in so much more than white.  This is a little known fact, or at least would appear to be from all the white blinds most of us have seen.  Think of every rental apartment or house you’ve ever lived in, I bet you it had white mini blinds.

But, here’s a fact – mini blinds offer a wider selection of colors than any other window treatment.  For some this could really come in handy.  Need a window treatment to complement your love of all things Thanksgiving?  They make orange mini blinds.  Love the color pink, or red.  No problem.  You can find a mini blind in colors from white to cream, to yellow, to brown,  to blue, green, purple (yes, they make purple mini blinds), all the way to black mini blinds.  Sorry, I know that list was a little long and maybe unnecessary, but I wanted you to understand the spectrum that’s available.

And, mini blinds are good looking window treatments.  Especially if you get decent quality, custom ones that fit nicely in the window and don’t have a big pile of slats stacked at the bottom of your window casing when the blind is down. 

So, if you are having trouble matching a blind or shade to a particular room’s decor, take another look at mini blinds.  They can look very nice and offer a reasonable amount of room darkening and privacy. 

Just to round out the information about mini blinds, besides being available in a color like brown, you can purchase them with some popular and handy features like cordless, and motorized with a remote control – How cool is that.  The cordless option – really both options – are important because they remove the danger of cords hanging down.

So, three cheers to color choices. Maybe I’ve given you reason to give these blinds a second look, even if you still decide to just get white mini blinds – they look good too.
